  • Motion Tracking but no Tracking Points?

    Hi,

I’m trying to motion track a handheld shot that pans from the interior of a car door up and out of the window to a blank sky.

The only problem is, once the camera tilts up beyond the interior of the car door, there is momentarily nothing for the motion trackers to grab onto.

    My question is this:

    – Is there a way to use a tracking point for the beginning of a shot, use no tracking points for the middle of a shot, and use a 2nd, new tracking tracking point for the end of a shot?

    I’m using AE CS3.

    Many thanks!

    Dave
