  35mm feature – scanned to 2K DPX – Converted to Prores444

  hi there,

  Im shooting a feature on 35mm.

  Im having it scanned at 2K.

  From the 2K source files I export a prores4444 file

  I edit this file.

  My question is this. What next? Do I stay in pro res 444 mode?

  Im not getting a 35mm print done. So would it make sense to color correct etc in this mode?

  Also, whats the best spec’d mac pro to deal with a lot of 2K material?
