  • LiveType and Motion – How to uninstall?

I desperately need to uninstall LiveType and Motion to save space on my hard drive. Can I simply move their folders over from the Library to an external hard drive, and delete them on my computer? Does anything get corrupted? I don’t use these apps, but might decide I need to in the future. So permanently uninstalling is fine. What is the most efficient way to do this without uninstalling all the FCP apps?

    Thanks!

Hard drives are very very inexpensive these days. If possible, clone your current drive to a much larger drive and install it in your computer.

Here is a good resource for installation on almost any system.

If you do decide that your best option is to uninstall Livetype and Motion, this program has worked well for me in the past:

Just make sure you only select the exact programs that you want to uninstall and uncheck the boxes of programs you with to keep. Otherwise you’ll need to uninstall everything and reinstall FCS
