  Can I do a Sony XDCam batch export in FCP 6?

  I have a lot of movie files I want to export and burn onto a Sony XDCam disc. I’m using FCP 6 for this project. It seems that, to export for the Sony XDCam, I can only go clip by clip. This is so much more time consuming than a batch export. Is it possible to do that with FCP 6?

  Not that i know of, but i could make you something that will do this in batch.
  How many clips are we talking about?

  I have about 35 clips as well.
  Is there some magic to allow you to automatically lay each clip to the
  XDCAM as clips, rather than as a sequece?

  well, there is a little known trick.
  Inside the Sony package is a small app. (forgot the name, mac is down at the moment, but you’ll find it.)
  If you make a shortcut, and drag your (Properly formatted of course) clips on it, Sony will do the rest.
  (I guess it will make seperate clips, otherwise script it)
