  Lomo effects?

  I’m working on a music vid and the director wants to try and get a lomo effect on some of the clips. I found a really great plugin here https://www.riverrockstudios.com/riverrock/pages/russianKamera.html
  but it’s a demo that puts a red x on the footage….

  I can’t pay for anything, unless it’s like $5, so I’m wondering if there are some other free plugins or a way to get a similar effect with the effects already in FCP.

  If you have an expense to produce a video you need to build that into your cost. Pass that $30 plugin on to the director. Just tell him or her that if they want to see lomo they’re going to have to pay $30 extra.

  Plus whatever your hourly is going to be to put the filter on your machine and apply it to the clips of course.

  You can try something like that in Color.
