Automatically marking high points of brightness
I have 6 plus hours of footage from a long thunderstorm. I want to see where the lightning strikes are without scrubbing through all that footage searching for the 3-5 frame lighting spots. Is there a way I can view a brightness/ luminance waveform in the timeline? Or any other way that FCP can show me exactly where the footage brightness peaks.
*Can’t use audio and thunder to do this b/c there was no sound recorded.

No way to do this in FCP I know of. type L 3 times. or two, and cruise it that way. If they are only a few frames, you might see one?
