  HD Photo Montage is pixelated

  Hello,

  I have been making photo montages in FCP in 4:3 SD for years, but I am new at this process now that I would like to move to 16:9 HD.

  I have a few photo montages that I have created using CoreMelts instant montages (they are great btw).

  When I export my sequences and burn them to a DVD (using DVD SP) and watch them on my Plasma, all the pictures are pixelated. I watched a few other montages that I have done in 4:3, and they are fine.

  Any recommendations on proper sequence settings concerning frame size and pixel aspect ratio would be greatly appreciated.

  If you source high quality photos, then work in an HD frame size. 1920 X 1080 should look MUCH better than what you’ve been doing. You’re up converting SD to HD. Should be simply working in HD from the get go.
