    hi to all.
working on a hackintosh machine that i built
i has 6 gb of ram
    i7 -920
and a 220 gt graphic card
working with it for more than a year now-never had a problem with it.

i started working on material shot on ag-af 101 from panasonic- after logging and transferring it into final cut in pro res -lt 1080 50 i(which is the same way it’s been shot)
i started editing it and found out that the shots that i changed their speed is a bit jumpy..and there is a blue bar in the render section even after rendering (i checked all the render options in the seq setting and so on).
i than continued and sent the seq into compressor to finish up with a high quality 90 minutes preset that than i imported into dvd pro and burned.
when watching it on the dvd player connected to my tv i was shocked to see that the short movie was very jumpy like there were a bout 5 frames missing from every second in the film.
has any one has a good idea what it might be??
    many thanks//

Hmm. Did you use an NTSC preset by mistake?

30 frames instead of 25 would leave you 5 frames

By the way…blue bar means unsupported enabler installed.

    I agree – doesn’t sound hackintosh specific…

what can i do a bout the unsupported enabler…
    what does it mean???
i had my pci card burned a month ago i replaced it with a new one//less powerful// and i think that this issue is happening since than..
i must add that i use the correct preset as i am sending the hole seq strait a way from final cut into compressor..but just incase- i double checked it..
i freshly installed mac-osx as well as final cut 7 both updated to most recent update(not the mac-osx-don’t like the lion mac-os) on a new hard drive (1TB)
but it didn’t help-the blue bar is still there ass well as the jumpy exports..
one thing i have noticed is that now it’s happening even on a dv-material..
it looks like final cut cannot handle slow motion correctly..

    many thanks for replaying.
