  how do i change a serial number on FCP 7?

  Hi Guys,
  i have trashed the Final cut Pro System ID file from the application support/proapps folder, but still FCP comes up with my old serial number, that is installed on my other system on my network.
  what should i do?

  unplug it from the network… after trashing the ID.

  Sorry, what does that do exactly, I couldn’t see any ability to put in the new serial number?

  it asks for the serial number again upon launching the app.
