  time lapse with a panasonic HMC 150 and editing in FCP

  The panasonic HMC 150 does not have interval recording, therefore I have to record the entire time lapse with no intervals.

  I know I could just load the whole entire clip into the timeline and change the speed but it leaves the time lapse looking kinda of choppy and not like recording in intervals.

  My question is if there is another way to import it into FCP so you can bring it in intervals instead of the whole entire clip??

  What’s “choppy” about it? I shoot timelapse with a 150 almost every weekend (for weddings) and they look fantastic. Have you rendered after changing the speed?
