    HI,

I have a quick question, I have a editing drive full of music and SFX and this is all linked to my Itunes on my laptop all almost categorized so it is easy to find what i need for a edit.

But this is by no means perfect, I go to a lot of jobs where it is a pain to bring my laptop along is there any way i can get a stand alone music player (Like itunes) to sit on my hard drive so where ever i go i can just plug it it and be bale to search all my music all nice and easy…

Or even better for me can i export a file in Itunes that i can import in to any computer i work on, yet when i leave not leave all of my offline files in their Itunes?

    Thank you for any advice.

Do not worry i have never use MP3 i convert what I decide to use to AIFF.

Using a FCP project is not a bad idea!! that could work yet i would have to convert everything and it does not alow for easy browsing.

Alos when working with Avid and premiere i would have to hope they have a FCP computer near.

Convert ALL tracks as you get them to:

    16bit
    48k
    aif

Then create a Master FCP Audio Project.
    Import all the audio tracks.
    Organize into bins.
