I have some DVCAM tape that needs to be digitised so that I can edit it in FCP. What is the best format to save it as so that I can import it into FCP. Maximum quality needs to be retained as the final video will be played on a DVD/Television.

    Thank you

choose DV/NTSC in easy setup. Use log and capture. Your quality will not improve if you try to convert to another codec.

As I told you before, garbage in garbage out applies.
