• Apple Final Cut Pro Legacy

  what spec mac laptop is neede to run final cut ?

  I’m looking to buy a mac laptop and will need it to be able to run final cut, I’m based in the UK and am looking to buy a reconditioned or 2nd hand one.(know of anywhere?)

  Also it doesn’t need to be some amazing super duper mac laptop it just needs to do the job !!

  I can get hold of Final Cut 6 as i know company that sells that, I also don’t wish to move on to any other editing programme until i really need to !!

  Also sorry if i was not being to specific to those of you who live in Apple-land. The whole point of going on this forum is because I’m unsure of exactly what I’m after !! Hence me asking for Help !

  Fair enough, thanks for your input, it looks like I’m going to have to bite the bullet and get that new 1 based on what your saying !!

  Really didn’t want to have to learn all over again as time is money !!

  I m running FCP7 on an older macbook pro. 2.33 ghz with 4gb ram. Seems to run fine for the most part although lags a bit when other things are open.
