  Using LG 26LC55 as iMac and FCP monitor

  I’m trying to use an LG 26LC55 as an HDMI linked second monitor from my iMac.

  I’ve finished cutting a short and I need to grade it but don’t have the funds for another big screen. Can anyone give any advice on the settings I should output from the iMac to the screen in display preferences? Should I use Adobe RGB 1998 on both computer and screen, for example, so that they are both in tune?

  The tv has very limited colour control but it will show me what the project will look like on a tv instead of just the imac monitor.
