  Hi,

  Im new to this forum and I have recently had an issue I havent come accross before.

  When uploading to final cut pro 5 using a PD170 I see the video (albeit with a bit of breakup) and can hear the audio through the camera but the audio isnt working in the software.

  I have tried cleaning the heads and using different hardware to upload with no success, could anyone help with this as I am stumped.

  Audio would be vulnerable if there was a mismatch in framerate and so on settings, but do you also have the “preview audio” checked in the settings?
