Have any of you ever seen AE running in CS3 affect the gamma in DVCPRO clips and ProRes clips? We’ve done some tests here and it seems related to AJA’s Uncompressed codec component. When we removed it, the problem goes away. Of course we’d like to not have to do this everytime we take footage into AE. To be clear, we do not see any gamma shift on uncompressed clips. AJA Tech supprt said they noticed a “sight shift”, but didn’t have any real answers. I should also mention we’ve seen this on G5 Macs running Kona LH as well as Intel Macs running Kona3. thanks for any help on this.
