  Flying rectangle effect

  Hey everyone,

  I’m working on a video right now and for a title card I have an idea that fits with the design scheme of the rest of the advertising materials and stuff.

  What I have in mind is a very-blurred background shot of a particular building (this is necessary) and then have multiple horizontal rectangles fly by, of differing colours (mostly bright, rainbow, 30% opacity) and at differing speeds. A kind of fly-by effect; some zipping by, some crawling.

  Now, apart from making 50+ Color Solids in a ton of layers and custom keyframing and motion effects, is there a simpler, faster way of doing this?

  You might want to take a look at Motion. You can make particle system out of any image…why not rectangles?
