I’ve been editing avchd rushes converted to prores 422 for fcp 7.03. Everything looks & works fine there but when I exported to H.264 300 Kbps playout for youtube (using Share) I ended up with a bright green line running down the right side of the frame for the entirety of the piece. Does anyone know why? What to do to avoid this?

    Thanks

Try not to use Share, but rather export from FCP as a reference movie and use Compressor outright.

I have seen green lines on frame sizes that aren’t SMPTE based on ProRes footage. What frame size is your timeline?

    Thanks for responding Jeremy:)

It’s 1920×1080, aspect ratio 1080i HDTV, pixel aspect ratio: square, field dominance:Upper (odd). It’s a match for the clip properties.

Try exporting first, then compressing and not using the Share function.
