Video glitch on export.
I’m exporting a ProRes 422 sequence from Final Cut as a quicktime movie (no conversion). Everything plays fine in the sequence. The exported file zooms just before some of my edit points. Anyone ever experience this?

What was the source footage’s properties? i.e. DV? DSLR HDV or? Did you record to ProRes files (like with a Ki Pro) or did you transcode it? if so how?

I am also experiencing a glitch after exporting as a quicktime movie. It is somewhat of a Mozaic glitch for one frame after each edit point. Have you ever experienced this Jerry? I am on a mac 8-core 2.4 GHz processor. In my case I am editing XDCAM 35 mb/s which was transcoded from H264 footage. It only seems to happen on this particular editing suite.
The only difference between this edit suite and my others is that my editing drive is stripped with 2 drives.

Might try resetting your graphics card. I’ve seen this fix the problem. Not had it in a long long time though.
I thing too the h.264 to XDCAM transfer is possibly suspect too. GOP to GOP. I’d be transcoding and working in ProRes instead of XDCAM if you can. i frame media formats such as ProREs or DVCPROHD are a lot easier on your computer to work with for sure.
