Mixing Flip Cam Video with Cannon 5D Mark II footage
I’m creating a project in Final Cut Pro 7.03 – Most of my footage shot on the Cannon 5D Mark II so I’ve set up my sequence specific to the Cannon footage. (Thanks to a online tutorial that helped me customize the settings so I don’t have to render the footage – It’s now HDTV 1080i (16:9)- Pixel Aspect Ratio Square – Field Dominance Upper – Editing TImebase 30 – Timecode Rate 30 Non-Drop Frame, Compressor H.264 Audio 44.1 which seems to be working beautifully!)
A few clips for this project were shot on the fly on a Flip Camera Ultra HD. I’m in the process of converting the flip camera footage in MPEG Streamclip for Final Cut Pro usage.
Here’s my question….What settings should I use while exporting the flip cam footage in MPEG Streamclip so it works along side the Cannon footage settings?
Any thoughts would be helpful.
Thank you,
Jocelyn
