final cut studio source monitor assistance
I have been editing on final cut studio for years but found myself in a corner. Before when I used to edit on the G5, I used to use a dsr-11 to bridge it to a source monitor and i would be able to see my work flow. I upgraded to a mac pro about 5 years ago and I was able to still see the work flow, until i upgraded to FCS 3. I could not for the life of me see what I was editing on the source monitor. i called apple adn they were no help. I adjusted the settings to view everything on the timeline as I was editing and nothing. I didn’t really mind it at first but now it has become somewhat of an issue. Is there any setting of hardware fix to be able to correct this problem? thanks!
