  Channel split

  Hi im new to the software… and i was wondering how i would go about isolation specific channels on a peice of clip… e.g. remove or isolate RGB colours… the effect im tryna go for is the anaglyphic look..

  i have seen this tutorial for photoshop https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KvTMv90GOXk so i thought i could transfer the method to final cut.. help would be appreciated e.g. if theres a better way… or the above if it would work.

  I’m not sure how you re-create this in Final Cut, but you could import your video clip into Photoshop and do this. I’m not sure if you can export out a video file from Photoshop. You may need to use a combination of Photoshop and After Effects. Maybe someone else has a better idea. Richard Harrington has a tutorial using Photoshop for video. Might want to check that out.
