    It would be extremely difficult to replicate what 3d stroke can do with the normal stroke (plus a ton of work). Of course, if you’re just using it to outline an object go with standard stroke. Download the demo and try it out to see if it’ll be something you’ll use. I find it’s a great tool to have for certain projects, but can be overdone if used too often.

    I agree with the YES and NO answers above.
    I just got 3D stroke last week and it is so easy to use and there are unlimited applications, I would rate it as useful as any other plugin I have!

    You can’t qttenuate the ends of ae stroke the way you can with trapcode. it would take you all day to accomplish some of the 3d space features in 3d stroke.
