I am editing a piece in FCP7 using video from a flipcam. I MPEG Streamclipped it to be .mov files for stability. When I try to insert still pictures into the piece, it looks fine in the timeline, but when I export as a .mov file, the still pictures have a flutter in the video. Can anyone help me stop the flutter?

    Sequence settings?
    Format & Size of stills?
    Do you export “current settings”?

Hi Chris–The sequence settings are DV NTSC 48Khz
The format of the pix are jpg., and are too small, so I enlarge them in the canvas. When I export, I export as a self-contained quicktime movie (.mov)

    It’s comes from:

    Low rez jpegs.
    DV compression.

I would recommend using higher and larger quality stills.
Change sequence to DV50 or higher.
    Try again.
