Hi to everyone, I’m Fabrizio, new in this forum but I hope to share what I know.
    I’m purchasing FCS3 from a private for 300€.
It’s ok (and buy in the next mounts the upgrade)’
Or is better to wait the new FCS4 or next NAB?
The problem is next months no more FCS3 at 300€…
I’d like just to know if the new features could be so big to need a new complete version of FCS and not just an upgrade so I’ll be obligated to buy a new one.
    Thanks
    Bye

There is no absolute knowledge that FCS4 is going to be available after NAB. How long can you wait?

Thanks Michael, does not depend on me but on the private seller so maybe 1 or 2.
Do you think for the next version it will be possible an upgrade for the usual price (300€ +/-)?
    Thanks

No-one knows what Apple plan at this stage. The only confirmation that can be trusted is that Apple are working on a new version. When it actually appears, how much it will cost, the upgrade options and costs are all mysteries.

One of the reasons people are selling FCS3 cheaply is an expectation that Apple will behave as normal and release an upgrade option.

If you need editing software now, then buy at the cheaper price. Apple are highly likely to offer an upgrade option for a reasonable price. Frankly software cost is so low these days that I wouldn’t hesitate to buy something to make a living off that can pay for itself in a week or two.
