  FCP7 Corrupt Project

  Has anyone had the error message (or something similar) – “unable to open project, project was created with an older version of Final Cut”

  This would be fine apart from its the same version of Final Cut that we’ve been using since forever. I am correct in thinking that the project has been corrupted, as this also seems to affect the Auto-save versions.

  Anyone know anyway to solve this?

  Which FCP version exactly? 7.03?
  Have you tried to open an Autosave of the project?
