  • Reconform with STP?

Posted by David Roth weiss on March 10, 2011 at 6:53 pm

Questions sometimes go unanswered for weeks at a time on the STP Forum, so please forgive me for asking this question here…

Color has a nice “reconform” function that makes it possible to properly track any changes in the underlying FCP sequence and preserving completed work in the Color project.

Does anyone know if STP works in essentially the same fashion?

Anyone care to share how you work with STP’s round-tripping and reconform features?

    TIA

[Dave LaRonde] “My needs are simple, so I’ve never had the need to use the round-trip feature.”

I’m finally gonna try to use it for the sound design on a 40-min. piece, from soup to nuts, just to see if it’s possible. We both know there’s a guy down in Tasmania whose probably gonna freak when he reads this. Wish me luck…
