  FCP 7 “Share” issues

  Having issues with the new “Share” feature on FCP 7 when trying to create a DVD. The Export process lags but ultimately seems to export the sequence file correctly. Only problem is that it never gets to the burning portion so the whole feature freezes about 15 minutes into the process. It appears that the burning section is the only one that it misses so I can’t use it until I figure this out. Any ideas, suggestions, questions, or comments are much appreciated.

  Nope. We kinda need to know what you are selecting in the share option.

  My students are selecting my 2 minute sequence to Share then; “Create DVD”, Choosing their external hard drive, then choosing output device HL-DT-ST DVD-RW GH41N, and exporting.

  They are working on 2 minute news features on FCP 7 and the Share feature has been working great up until now. I have 26 computers and the Create DVD option seems to be failing on most of them as of late.
