  Boris keeps crashing FCP7

  anyone else seeing this.

  been happening for awhile. Have been meaning to post.

  I do have a great fix though..

  save right before I open Boris.

  A few months ago I watched a tutorial webinar given by Boris where they advised FCP users to download the newest version from their site. I couldn’t find the link to post here, so you may want to email Boris customer service for it.

  Is your software up to date. I recall that early versions of FCP7 has a Boris related issue.

  Yeah we are up to date. Boris has been crashing FCP for awhile.

  You could have a corrupt font. You could also try trashing your Boris preferences

  All Boris plugs running OK here.Same setup.

  Pl. post your situation on the Boris FX forum. Provide detailed info about your system hardware, OS, FCP version, BCC or Red version etc. Their engineering team is very proactive about troubleshooting. There is also a very active community of users who will be happy to help you.

  Btw, I ran into a similar situation about a year back. A reinstallation solved the issue.

  A few years back I used to chase Boris Fxs updates (Paid Mind You)
  to solve Boris issues with FCP.

  I finally threw in the towel and said enoughs enough.
  We Don’t use Boris no more.
