  • Conform Option Not Clickable When Trying to Conform 24p to PAL (25p) in Cinema Tools

I shot a half day’s worth of footage on HVX200 at 720pN, 24p for a client who’s requesting the footage converted to PAL. When I import each clip or a FCP Render of all of them into Cinema Tools, the Conform option is not available in the Clip menu, only the Analysis option.

I’ve done this conversion several times before with the same settings and never had a problem…any thoughts on what it could be?

Is it worth trying to do it in Compressor? I’m currently rendering a PAL version of a 3 minute clip which looks like it will take a couple hours and I shot almost two hours of footage.

    Thanks for your help.

Is this HDV? You can’t conform long GOP footage. You need to convert to an iFrame format like ProRes first.

Have you tried reverse telecine instead?
