Render problem H.264 Can you copy in and out points?
Hi,
Finished rough cut for a wedding filmed professionally with multiple cameras (3). This involved a lot of audio syncing, (used Pluraleyes but still needed lots of perfecting). Original files were given to me on an external hard drive as .mov files. When dropped first clip in timeline clicked yes to match timeline settings, render bar is grey. Only after I completed the rough cut, when I started to change the opacity or use transitions did I notice the render bar go red!! So I rendered and some parts render fine but some parts are skipping. So I exported as QT and skipping still present. The only way I can think to resolve this is to convert all the original files to Apple ProRes, re import and start again…aaaahhhh…all that work for nothing. Is there any way I can copy the in and out points from the original edit (most clips are small just one pass of each shot) and paste them on to the files in the new edit? Or do you have another way to resolve this issue?
The problem clips item properties are:
Vid Rate 25fps
Frame Size 1920 x 1080
Compressor H.264
Data Rate 5.5MB/sec
Pixel Aspect SquareSequence item properties are:

I appreciate any help you can offer.
Kind regards,
Loretta
