Effects Disappear when exported to Quicktime
The adjustments I make in Color Corrector 3 Way disappear when I export. I’ve been exporting to Quicktime and have tried many variations of compression to no avail. The footage looks great in the browser/Canvas after adj are made. Contrast adj shows up in the exported version just not color corrections. I’ve already trashed my prefs. Any help would be appreciated. Oh, and I’m using Final Cut 6. Thanks.

As has been mentioned hundreds of times now on this very forum, you cannot use the Canvas or Viewer to view your files for color correction.
What you see in the Quicktime Player will look different than the Viewer / Canvas. This is by design. The FCP viewers are essentially proxy images as Final Cut Pro expects you to have a proper external monitor connected to your system.

Yes, I understand that what I see in the Quicktime Player will look different from the Viewer. However, I should still be able to detect changes – even if what I am seeing is not correctly color calibrated. Can you think of a reason why those changes would not be happening on export?
