  • HELP exporting from Adobe After Effects/Importing to Final Cut

When i export from AE as a lossless Qtime the file looks
great. But when i import it into FC it is all pixelated …I thought
it was just a display thing in Final Cut, but when exported from FC it looks the
same. Im totally stumped. Is it an exporting problem from AE (I use the render Queue and lossless)? Or is it a problem with Final Cut’s handling of the file? Are my FC settings not compatible with AE? Im using AE 6.5 into FC HD 4.5. Arggh. I appreciate any
    help at all. Thank you.

If the file that came out of AE looks great in QT Player, then it’s fine. The issue may lie with your FCP settings. If the FCP sequence is set to an ugly codec like DV, then, well, your movie will look ugly. And DV doesn’t like graphics much.

What is the frame size of the movie?
