  • How to change background color of text or jpeg

Posted by David Williams on January 10, 2011 at 2:50 am

    Hello
I imported a jpeg into fcp. Once I insert the Jepeg into the timeline and shrink it to scale I have the black background surrounding the Jpeg.

Is there any way to change the color of the background?

Any help on this would be appreciated.

    Thanks

Try making a color frame in photoshop the same resolution as your timeline and put it on video track 2 under the jpeg in order to fill the frame behind and hide the black.

You can move the jpeg to V2 and place a color Matte in V1 and change the color to anything you want.

    David,
This a question for the Basic Forum.
Would be convenient for you to open the FCs manual and have a look now and them.
