SUPER TIME SENSITIVE: Media Manager doesn’t trim my DSLR clips
I read here in the forum that only a reel name can help here. I tested it on one clip and seemed to work.
Now here is the challenge. I have over 1000 clips of B-roll. I don’t get paid for putting a reel name into each and every clip.Is there a fast way of doing that?
OR
Is there another work flow how I can export or display my trimmed clips from the timeline?
I’m happy also with a FCP inhouse solution.Meaning as long as I’m able to display the trimmed clips lets say by making them independent clips (didn’t work either, just as an example) please let me know.
To summ it up. I need to be able to see the clips that are currently in the timeline as separate clips, i.e. in the browser without the stuff that I trimmed away.

Select all the clips that are in the same reel, control-click in the reel column, and select one of the names listed.

Next time use Log and Transfer, it will add REEL to all the footage.
