Selecting a timecode RANGE in a timeline
Hi,
I’ve recently taken on the task of onlining a feature edit, basically taking a DV sequence and relinking the clips to the respective HD footage. It’s not as simple as relinking the longer master clips to the HD counterparts, unfortunately; the conforming of the DV footage from 29.97 to 23.98 was done on a clip by clip basis, so basically every take in the movie has its own associated media.
So I’m going through this edit clip by clip, and I was wondering if there was an option to select all clips within a range of timecode in a sequence, or even all clips associated with a particular reel? I’ve tried using the Find method but that only seems to allow you to search for a single timecode point.
Example: I want to select all clips within my sequence within a source timecode range of 03:00:00:00 – 04:00:00:00. Is there a way to do that? If not, is there a way to select all clips in a sequence that are associated with Reel 3?
Thanks,
Ed
