    Hi There,

Have a client that would like to edit some of our footage that we filmed for them…themselves. They are paying for this, so it is fine by me. However, they have Pinnacle Studio? Latest version and they are on Windows. I have a feeling I will need to do a conversion. Does anyone have any ideas what compressor settings might work. Thanks for any help necessary!

    All the Best!

You need to find out what files Pinnacle will work with and then batch convert using Compressor to that format. You will not be able to use the edit info from Pinnacle back in FCP as I don’t think Pinnacle can produce a meaningful file format (EDL or XML) to transfer back into FCP so it would be a one way process.
