Which format should I choose
Hi everyone,
Thanks in advance for any help.
I am about to start editing a compilation piece in Final Cut Pro and I’m not sure what frame rate to use.
The footage I have is in both 25fps and 23.98fps but with the majority in 25fps. The final edit will be uploaded to Vimeo at 720p.What should I be considering when choosing whether to conform the fps in either direction?
I have used Cinema Tools for conforming 50fps to 25fps, is this what I would use to change 25fps->23.98fps or 23.98fps->25fps?

Since most is 25fps, I’d conform the 23.98 to 25.

Since you’re not worried about a TV signal, and only worried about a web output, I’d go with 25. If most of it is 25, then you have less work to do.

Don’t do that.
That only makes a 50% slow mow.
That p50 footage have to be treated as p25. Half of the frames need to be discharged.[Jerry Hofmann] “Since most is 25fps, I’d conform the 23.98 to 25.”
Not sure if that is possible. I mean, you can conform 25 to 23’98, but no sure if is possible 23’98 > 25.
I tried once, but no option.
