  • border disappears after rendering in final cut

Posted by Molly Cummins on December 3, 2010 at 4:23 am

I have put a border on a couple of pictures and when I render out my project part of the border disappears. I’ve tried to redo the border completely and I can see it in preview before I render, but once again when I render part of the border is missing. Any suggestions on how to fix this? Thanks!

    Hi Molly,

Can I have more detail please, when you say render out, do you mean export or just when it renders in the timeline?

    Hi Molly,

I’m going to take a guess and say you’re exporting with Compressor? Make sure that whatever setting you’re using has ‘Add clean aperture information’ UN-checked in the Encoder settings.

If that’s not it then I don’t know without more information.

    Thanks,
    Alex

It’s when I render it in the timeline, not exporting. I’ve had this happen before and I cannot figure out why it is happening. Also, the pictures are touching each other on screen in case that matters.
