  DVD capacity

  Up to now I have been involved in half hour long programs which nicely fit on any DVD.

  If I have a program which is over 1 hr long, can that be fitted on a regular DVD or is there different compression which needs to be scheduled?

  I am using the “Share” command in Final Cut Pro 7.

  Hi Bert,
  In a DVD you can fit a few hours movie. Of course, reducing the picture/audio quality.
  A one hour program lets you keep high data rate so quality.
  I can’t advise you about using the “Share” function.
  Compressor offers you much more control on this process.
