What are the benefits of replacing my system HD with a SSD? I know it will boot the OS faster but are there any benefits to FCP? I’m still going to use my raid drive for storage data; also I need a recommendation for a stable SSD.

    Thanks

You won’t see a crazy increase in Final Cut, mainly because it’s still a 32bit program and that is more of an issue than a faster drive, but overall system performance with be faster. If you can afford your system will run faster but there are probably other things you should upgrade first, like more RAM or a better graphics card.
