Compressing for DVD – QT Error 0
I was able to make an mpeg 2 file for DVD and all worked fine.
I made one very small change in the video and needed to compress it again. Now it goes for about an hour then quits and I get a QuickTime 0 message. Here’s how I’m doing it:1. Export to Compressor from FCP.
2. Pick the preset for the DVD ( picture only – audio works fine)
3. Submit and close Compressor.I thought maybe the project was too big because I’ve got several sequences with it. But I made an Media Manager Copy to another place so it would be by itself and still got the message.

Try exporting a self contained QT movie of the sequence, and import that file into Compressor using the settings you’ve used before.

That worked.
The weird thing is that I only changed one letter on a text slide. It worked fine before that.

Possibly re-rendering that bit would have done the trick.
