  Please i want to know how to select an element in a video such a (walking man) in after effects.

  It’s not as easy and it’s made more complicated by how you shot it. If you haven’t shot it yet, you’re in luck.
  Open the online help system and use the index to find the sections on Masking and Rotoscoping. The topics are thoroughly covered in about 100 pages.
