  Changing Frame Rate and Speed

  I am currently working on a project in which most of the footage was shot natively in slow motion, probably 60 fps, with 16mm film. I was wondering if there was some rule of thumb by which you could change the speed of the film in FCP and make the playback fairly smooth?

  I have tried various speeds, but nothing seems to work. When it plays back now it is jumpy and doesn’t necessarily flow very well. Thanks in advance!
