  Baselight auto conform

  Is it possible to conform back to the h264 footage in a baselight that was originally shot on a 5d camera.

  The prores conversion that FCP does, is this an exact copy of the h264…????? are headers names etc the same?…is there TC carried…

  xml or edl ??

  There is no tc in Canon h264 files. None.

  After using the log and transfer plug in an converting to ProRes, “tc” is added based on the date/time metadata of the camera.

  No. The ProRes files are not exactly the same as the h264s.
