    Hello,

I have a short film here, shot on an HV20.

    Footage was captured at
    720×480
    NTSC CCIR 601,
    29.97 Lower field dominance.

Edited in a sequence that matches those settings.
    However, there is still interlacing?

I opened the clip in finder and in quicktime there are no interlacing issues..

Sent the footage to Color, rendered worked and rendered in 29.97, rendered original format (dv/dvcpro NTSC)

    Same issue..

What am I doing wrong here?

It’s interlaced video and you’re playing back on a computer monitor, of course you have interlace, that’s to be expected. Play the same material back on a video monitor or TV and you won’t see the interlace. You can also try setting your canvas at 100%.

If the material is destined for the Web, you either deinterlace it or scale it down by 50% or more to lose the interlace.

    Get it?
