    Hi guys

I got some interview footage filmed in a driving car.
I have allot of car noises in the background (obviously…) which makes it difficult to hear the man who’s talking.

Can anybody help me find a good enough audio filter (in FCP 7) that reduces background car noises, and I appreciate some tips on how to work with it.

    Thanks

    Roi

Noise reduction can be done in Sound Track Pro. I use izotope plugins in my Fairlight for denoising. izotope is really good and can run as a stand alone application. Treat the files and then reimport into FCP.

izotope also make their plugin in AU (audio units) format so they may work inside Final Cut but I haven’t tried it. I use the VST version
