Timecode Plugin
I’m a sound mixer and want my editor to import 4 separate audio tracks into FCP. They won’t have linear time code (LTC) stamped to the files, but the video will have a timecode slate being used as the clapper. If I were to record the same timecode from the clapper on another audio track and import that with the other 4 files, is there a way to sync them up to the video? I’ve heard that FCP has a plugin that will allow it to read a timecode audio track. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

I the audio were a solid piece on each track and everything started at the clap, that is all I would use to sync the audio with the video. You don’t have to have TC with the audio.

that can merge BWF with QT video.
Perhaps that’s what you are after.Do download the demo and toy with it.
