    Hello,

I have been editing together a selection of clips. I have used in and out points to edit these clips onto the timeline and also just dragged the entire clips to the timeline and cut out the section I need.

5 out of 11 of these clips have a ‘flash’ frame at the beginning on the edited clip. Meaning that when I play the clip a flash of the previous frame shows up but when I go through the clip frame by frame it is not there! I have zoomed in fully and still cannot see it. I have also cut the first bit off the clip and still the previous frame flashes on screen.

Anybody had this problem before, I have no idea how to get rid of this invisible flash frame.

    Thank you

Have you tried closing the project and restarting your machine? This is what I do when FCP gets wonky. I have experienced the flash frames like you and this usually solves it.

Please give more info about the format/frame rate of both your timeline and your footage.
