I recently inherited a multi camera project that was shot on three different formats. It’s a Jazz concert shot on a DVX100B (with an anamorphic lens, A panasonic HDX900 shot at 720 24p and a Canon 7Ds @72060. So I’m dealing with H.264, DVCPROHD and Anamorphic DV. My plan is to try to Upconvert the anamorphic DV to 720 apple pro res Using my Kona LHI, Capture the DVCPROHD footage to pro-res and convert the Canon footage to pro-res. I would work with all the footage at the 59.94 base frame rate. I figured if I made all the footage 720 59.94 then I could take advantage of the multi-camera function in FCP. This is not exactly the way I would have done it but it’s a longtime client and I want to do my best to help them I’m looking for some advice on whether I could run into any pitfalls or if someone has a better idea i’m open to any suggestions.

I would throw out the notion of trying to edit a multiclip sequence for this project since you will have 3 different timecodes.

Do all of your masters have audio on them? including the 7D? If so, once you have have all your footage normalized you could sync in the timeline with pluraleyes.
